  1. OK! I don’t mind an educational story once in a while! They don’t all have tobe so serious ;-P … I sit all day at work in front of a computer and I need something to keep me awake and entertained, lol. Thanks again. Cya

  2. Mary,

I will search (or create) a totally fun presentation. Thanks for commenting and come back soon.

  3. Wow, there were some fascinating statistics in that video presentation. There are 2 million TVs in bathrooms! For real?

As an attorney who works with many musicians and companies trying to earn a living in the music industry, it makes me very sad to see that 95% of songs downloaded are downloaded illegally.

Finally, I’m certain I’m getting half of those spam emails (that comprise 90% of daily emails sent)

  4. Joy,

I hope your clients still are creating a database of fans. They can then create a community to directly connect with their fanbase, providing long term value.

Also, look at your email filter settings to eliminate the most common words and phrases from the spammers.

  5. Great video! I love numbers and statistics, but it’s so hard to get people to interact with them, unless you present them in an entertaining way (as the video has shown).

I think the important thing is to continue to react to all new technology (not just social media). But you have to strike a balance between being first in for every new technology (some of which will never take off), and sticking to tried and tested methods.

    Anyone disagree?

  6. Thom,
You are correct about technology. I find that I am not a first adopter, but wait for the the market to find the bugs and create the next update.

I do however watch how the market adapts to the new technology. Mobile marketing is one of those shifts that will be around for a while.

  7. Lots to look through here! Definitely gives me ideas. Love the layout and all this has to offer. Savvy it is! Makes me want to do some catching up and investigating. Love this.
